In our 4th straight monthly giveaway, we're teaming up with A.C.Ryan for a pretty amusing contest. Here's how it works:
A.C.Ryan has a "NutCASE" acrylic case filled with A.C.Ryan Connectx connectors, and they'll let you guess how many there are in the case! You also have to guess how many different versions of connectors are present. There will be two winners and subsequently two prizes:
1st Prize: Ryanpower2 CableFREE Power Supply
2nd Prize: LAN.Ranger
The 1st prize will be given to the person who guesses closest to the actual amount of connectors. The 2nd prize will be given to the person who guesses closest to the actual amount of different types of connectors. That said, have a look:
As always, we're basing this month's contest in our forums. To be eligible, here's what you need to do (please read carefully):
- Register in the forums if you haven't already done so.
- Contribute at least 20 relevant posts between now and December 31, 2004 (Off Topic posting doesn't count) to be eligible.
- Post your entry in this thread. You need to post your guess for both the total amount of connectors you think are in the case and the amount of the types of connectors that are in the case. If you edit your submission after posting it, you will be disqualified. This prevents users from changing their guesses for whatever reason. Also, you can only post once in this thread. Absolutely no discussion is allowed; only guesses.
- If you have questions or would like to discuss any parts of this giveaway, feel free to do so in this thread. Keep in mind that because this is a "guess and win" style contest, any information that would aid users in guessing a closer-to-actual value will not be provided by the Mikhailtech staff.
Here's some more useful information:
- Winners will be selected and announced within a week following the end of the giveaway, so the first week of January 2005.
- Each winner will be notified via email (same address you provide during your forum registration) and will be given 48 hours to respond with shipping information.
- Should a potential winner not meet the requirements (invalid email address, untimely response, irrelevant forum contributions i.e. spam, etc) we will select someone else until we have all the winners we need.
- Each winner is limited to 1 prize per giveaway.
- A.C.Ryan will ship internationally (within reason), so non-U.S. residents are welcome to enter!
- This page will be updated with a list of winners (using their forum usernames) at the end of the giveaway.
- Giveaway is subject to change without notice.
