Anyhow, the box is not very important, it's the stuff inside that really counts. Opening the box reveals the rich bundle Gainward has included:
- Ultra/750-8X video card
- PCI FireWire controller
- DVI to DSub adapters
- FireWire cable
- VIVO cable
- Manual
- Drivers CD
- WinCinema software CD
- Serious Sam CD
As you can see, it's quite a full pack:

First, there's the PCI FireWire (IEEE1394) card.

This is a very nice addiction and it is obviously for those people that actually use the video capture capabilities of the video card.

The chip used for the FireWire card is VIA VT6306. The manual and drivers CD are also present.

There are drivers for all Windows versions. Also, Gainward has included the PowerStrip utility, albeit shareware version, BIOS flashing tools and manuals in PDF format. To be honest, everything you’ll need to make the card work properly can be found on this CD. On the driver CD you can find the ExperTool software, Gainward's own creation, used to configure and set up the card.
