All specs and features are briefly described on the back of the box, and all the necessary warranty details as well as web page link are provided. I think Antec did very well designing this package, it is not very eye catching but sure is well done. Opening the box reveals all the necessary stuff to make the installation as easy as possible.

Besides the PSU, of course, the package contains a power cable for connecting the PSU to the power line, a set of screws for attaching the PSU to the case and a manual. The power cable and screws I was expecting, but a manual? Well, not really a manual, it's more like a brochure that describes the technologies involved and the installation of the PSU. Frankly, I doubt such a manual was needed because let's face it, whoever buy this PSU surely knows what they're doing and needs no installation instructions.
It is a PSU designed for power users and enthusiasts after all, and people that need instructions of how to install a PSU will most likely not choose, buy or install their own hardware. Nevertheless, a manual is nice to have just in case and it shows that Antec really cares about their customers. The PSU itself looks ... well ... like a PSU. Of course, it has dual fans like any respectable PSU, and chromed grills for each of the fans. Here's a picture of the belly of the TP550:

Notice the slightly larger fan, which measures 92x92mm, covered by a golden chrome grill. When mounted in a case, this fan will be the intake fan, takes the air from inside the case and cools the internal PSU components. The hot air is then removed through the back of the PSU by the second fan:

This fan is somewhat smaller, measuring only 80x80mm, but also has a golden grill. Both these fans are thermally controlled, as I previously stated, using the Low Noise Technology. And not to forget, the label on the PSU:

Pink label, girlish stuff ;-) But it states the rating of the PSU, which is very useful info if the box is not available. As output from the PSU there are seven 4pin Molex type connectors, two FDD power connectors, the main 20pin power cord, an additional 12V 4pin connector for P4 motherboards, one 6pin Aux. power connector, and some special connectors.
