We obtained Motorola's new RAZR maxx Ve mobile phone to properly review the Pulsar 260's mobile music and call features, but also tested the device with the incompatible Motorola RAZR V3c. The headphones worked in their full capacity with the RAZR maxx Ve phone, but the device only worked for phone calls with the RAZR V3c - albeit in stereo. We take this opportunity to remind potential users to check their mobile phone before buying a headset such as the Pulsar 260. Users should make sure their phone is A2DP compatible.
The installation of the device in the automobile was extremely simple. The hardest part was pulling up carpet along the doors to hide the antenna cable. The booster was tossed under the passenger seat and the lighter plug was tucked under the center console till it came out next to the cigarette lighter. The antenna inside the automobile was run up the B pillar and with provided double-back tape was affixed to the top of the B pillar and the roof (inside). The outside antenna was ran under the carpet from the passenger seat to the trunk and then ran out the trunk and with the antenna’s magnet the antenna sits on the trunk lid. There was some relocation done before both antenna’s were set in permanent locations due to each antenna must not be able to pickup each other (shown by a red light on the power adapter and booster).
The Ultra X3 1000Watt is a thing of beauty actually, if a power supply can be called beautiful then this one can. The finish is excellent, but just watch those fingerprints, while I was taking pictures I had to keep wiping it clean so they wouldn't show up in the pictures.. though I'm sure I might have missed a few. Like any power supply on one side is the specifications label telling us all the particulars about the X3.
Both the VF1000 LED and the RHS88 come with all the parts you need for a typical installation. Besides the stuff you need to assemble the cooling solution you also get a case badge and a tube of thermal interface material. The installation method is quite simple with this product and with the extensive manual that Zalman provides I think that almost everybody can put this cooling solution together.
Looking further we have two DVI-to-VGA connectors along with a TV-Out break-out box which offers both S-Video and Component. Overall the package is pretty good but what it’s missing is some cables. If you want to make use of the TV-Out you’re going to have to purchase separate cables to get it up and running, unless you happen to already have some that is.
Menacing. That's the word NZXT uses to describe its Lexa Blackline performance gaming chassis. The massive beast, black skinned and glowing red, is a quiet monstrosity perfect for a water-cooled rig. Its ominous appearance is glossy, yet symmetrically contoured like a stealth jet. A temperature display crowns the head of the beast, allowing a user to prevent the case from reaching his or her own evil number of degrees. Will the NZXT Lexa Blackline measure up to its counterparts, the HUSH and ADAMAS?
The Clear Harmony Noise Cancelling Headphones are at the high end of Able Planet's product lineup and are aimed at those consumers with discriminating taste for audio. Able Planet packages them in a very nice box with all of the accessories you could need for use in standard environments or even on airplanes where noise cancelling headphones really help. Clear Harmony arrives encased in a hard cover neoprene travel container.
The Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Case is probably one of the most anticipated cases out there. It comes with lots of drive bays, acoustic foam, 5 120mm fans, large handles, and has a tooless design for installing drive in the 5.25" drive bays. It also has a very unique hard drive compartment system for storing up to 6 HDDs. This case is mostly steel though so it's fairly heavy, but this keeps the cost down over an all aluminum case. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
The heatsink has a picture of a woman printed on it. On the fan a small ATI logo is printed on to market the ATI card. The heatsink/fan combo is mounted well with clips on the back of the card. They use all four mounting holes to hold the fan/heatsink in place.
Most of the important technical information is on the side of box, so there's not too much more to talk about unless you want the truly boring information on how the processor is built. Instead, I will bore you with some pictures of the packaging material on the inside, which is just some plastic that holds the stock HSF and CPU in place by a friction fit. On the backside of the instruction booklet is a Core 2 Duo Inside case badge so you can brag about the processor.
