IDE To SATA Bi-Directional Converter at DragonSteelMods:

On one side of the converter is an IDE connection that connects to either an IDE hard drive, or the IDE header on your motherboard. On the back is a switch and set of jumpers that will be used to set the converter to know which setup you are using, either IDE to SATA or SATA to IDE.

OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Titanium EPP 2x1GB at EclipseOC:

There are two interesting things about the specifications. First, the EPP vs non-EPP timings. On the memory kit itself, the EPP timings are printed, which makes me suspect that they will work at CAS4 without EPP enabled. Further testing proved my suspicion right on the test platform I am using. The other is the rated voltage and the voltage specified for warranty purposes. The 2.3v listed is with a 5% tolerance, which means that if you know that your motherboard puts out the voltage you set it to, 2.4v is acceptable, though probably not advisable for long term usage.

X-Arcade Tankstick at OCModShop:

X-arcade has been making high-end authentic arcade-quality controls for several years, and have released their latest flagship product, the X-Arcade Tankstick. The sticks and buttons used by the company are industrial quality and the cases are famously over-built and absurdly sturdy.

ASRock ALIVENF7G-HDREADY/M/ASR Geforce 7050 Motherboard at PCStats:

ASRock, which is best known for its budget motherboards, has put together a decent integrated HTPC motherboard called the ALiveNF7G-HDready. With onboard video care of a Geforce 7-series videocard and nVIDIA's PureVideo acceleration technology, this compact MicroATX mobo is the basis for a very versatile little rig. The ALiveNF7G-HDready has no problems playing H.264 HD-DVD or Blu-Ray movies at resolutions of 720P, 1080i / 1080P with a minimum 2GB of RAM installed and a CPU at least as powerful as an Athlon64 X2-5200+.

OCZ DDR2 PC2-9200 Reaper HPC Edition at Rbmods:

The new heatsinks on the ram have a bit different design from the older OCZ heatsinks. The heatsink itself is connected with heatpipes to a heatsink mounted above the ram. I think design works quite well, the heat is transfered from the memory to the heatsink, the heat does not stay on the heatsink but is transfered through heatpipes to the top heatsink which means a more stable and well performing ram stick.

ViewSonic VX2835wm 28 Inch LCD Display at XYZ Computing:

The VX2835wm is basically a larger version of the VX2235wm that we reviewed a few weeks ago with a few upgrades here and there. The VX2835wm's cabinet is the same and it still has speakers and a very respectable price point. Since we are already familiar with the VX series, let's take a quick look at how ViewSonic did with their largest and newest display. Looking at the VX2835wm we can see that it is an upgrade to previous VX models. Despite the VX2835wm's larger size, they all feature a similar base, controls, and cabinet, so the only major change that can be observed at a casual glance is the LCD.

Innodisk 8GB USB Flash Drive at ExtremeMhz:

This flash drive is almost perfect in terms of a design standpoint. It is incredibly small and light and about as thin as they come. Unlike a majority of flash drives, there's no cap to lose. In fact, its most unique design feature is that the connector itself is neither completely exposed nor retractable. Instead, it is mainly protected by its outer plastic shell. The rear is clear so that the embedded green LED will shine through. It also has a very small notch to attach the included lanyard, which leads me to elaborate more on the words "almost perfect". The small notch is just slightly too small for a standard-sized key ring to fit through. However, you can easily attach a smaller key ring so that you can carry it along with you keys. Also, by simply examining how the rear cover is attached to the rest of its body, it is highly unlikely that it will be able to withstand much abuse at all. Close but no cigar!

Hiper Type-R 530W Power Supply at PC Apex:

The early generations of the Type R PSU have proved winners in the aesthetics field and certainly fared decent in terms of their performance. Given that this unit is their lowest wattage modular unit (and little brother to their popular 580W model) – has Hiper brought anything new and improved to the table? Let’s find out!

Kingston HyperX PC3-11000 DDR3 Memory Kit at Virtual-Hideout:

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of testing out one of Kingston's Value RAM 2x1GB Kits which presented a good basic benchmark and test result of what DDR3 holds in store for the newest Intel based systems. Most of the Intel support surrounds the motherboards and memory modules that support the 1333MHz FSB processors which are out now. While there is really nothing wrong with the 1066MHz Core 2 Duo processors still on many of the shelves, the newer processor has just as much, if not better, a chance of continuing to impress in terms of performance and overclocking.

Gigabyte 8600GTS 256MB Silent Pipe 3 at Techgage:

The GPU core is located below the bottom left-hand side of the bulkiest part of the cooler, right beside the angle change. The core is covered with a copper heatsink with heat pipes that extend through the rest of the massive cooler and run up and around into the array of fins. There is another heat pipe that extends towards the top right-hand corner of the cooler as well. Towards the back end of the card, heat runs along all of the fins and meets it's ultimate death outside the back of your case. It's a solid cooler design, though it still seems bulkier than it should have to be.
