BFG 8800 GTS OC2 640 MB at Neoseeker:

The BFG 8800 GTS OC2 is a graphics card with some serious-firepower. The card is aimed to interest gamers who are willingly to pay for high performance, but are perhaps not wanting to shell out the top dollar for the pricey pinnacle of GPU technology right now, the 8800 GTX. Being an overclocked 8800 GTS card with 640 MBs of memory, this BFG offering could be seen as addressing a midway point between the attractive price of a 320 MB-variant 8800 GTS, compared to the expensive performance of a 8800 GTX.

The Campus Party at MetkuMods:

I'm not too educated on the history of the Campus Party but I do know that this was the 11th time this event was held. This year there were over 8100 participans during the 23rd to 29th of July. To give you some perspective, here in Finland, we have a bit similar LAN Gaming event called Assembly. While being the biggest event of its kind nationally and held 16th time this year, it only manages to gather around 5000 visitors.

Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case at 3dGameMan:

If you’re in the market for a very well constructed, thick aluminum mid-tower case, than the Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case is for you. With four external 5.25" drive bays, one external 3.5" drive bay and 6 internal drive bays, there lots of places to install drives. Although the front HDD cage which houses up to four HDDs does hinder air circulation. Speaking of air circulation, there are two 92mm fans at the front of the case and one 120mm fan at the back of the case. Since it is a mid-tower case there isn't a lot of room to work, but the motherboard tray is removable. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Ultra Products X3 1000W Modular Power Supply at PC Apex:

Ultra, a word derived from the Latin word meaning 'beyond'. Used as a prefix it indicates greater than normal quality or importance. Living up to their name ULTRA is known for bringing products to the enthusiast that could be considered beyond that of the normal. For years ULTRA has been on the forefront of the computer enthusiast scene giving us products from Cases and Power supplies down to Flash Drives and Mp3 Players. Today we have the opportunity to take a look at one in an ever growing line of power supplies from ULTRA, enter the X3 1000W Energy Efficient Modular Power Supply. Boasting a whopping 1 Kilowatt of power for you to play with while retaining 85% energy efficiency and full range active PFC. While ULTRA’s claims look pretty good on paper I am curious to see what this unit can do once we get it on the bench.

Quakecon 2007 Coverage at HotHardware:

Although the event officially got underway Thursday morning, die-hard BYOC gamers were in line as early as Wednesday afternoon to ensure that they would be among the first to put their gaming rigs in the BYOC area. In the hours preceding the opening of Quakecon, the line itself had to be moved into an enormous overflow area because over eight hundred people had lined up to get in the BYOC. However, while in line, many attendees used the opportunity to meet new gamers from all over the world, exchange hardware and overclocking tips, and a few even played card games.

Sapphire HD 2400XT Videocard at HardwareLogic:

We don't expect much out of budget oriented bundles, so we weren't surprised to not see a game or other fluff throw in as value fodder, but we did find the lack of a driver disc to be a curious omission (Sapphire assured us that retail shipping units will include the disc, and Newegg's picture shows one being included as well). The items that did find their way into our retail box include a quick installation guide, HDTV cable, DVI to VGA/D-sub adapter, DVI to HDMI adapter, and S-Video to composite adapter.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound at DragonSteelMods:

There are many companies out there today making thermal compounds and vying for your dollars. At one point the best was Arctic Silver, but some of these other companies are pushing them out of that top spot, and let's face it you can't be on top forever. With all the choices out there today, besides obviously performance, what is the final deciding factor on which to purchase? The price? The quantity? Or other special features. Today for review I've got a new entry into the thermal compound arena called MX-2, and it's from Arctic Cooling, a company that is highly respected for it's quality and the performance of their products. So I decided to put it up against the top dog, Arctic Silver 5 and see just how it fares...

Sunbeam Tuniq 3 Case at Overclocker Cafe:

Tuniq is offering their latest case in either a black or a silver color scheme. As you can see below, our review unit is silver. The plastic trim is colored in the opposite color as the outer chassis. So the colors are really silver/black and black/silver. Size wise, the Tuniq3 is pretty standard with an observed size of 486 x 203 x 464mm which differs from the Tuniq's website's specs surprisingly. Our scales checked the rig in at 9.3 kilos which puts the Tuniq3 in the nice position of being a good sized case without being too heavy.

USB Fridge at DragonSteelMods:

Taking a closer look we can see that most of the base is heatsink and fan, a peltier basically works by having one side cold and the other hot. Having the heatsink and fan there is to keep the hot side from overheating, which will make the cold side warm...

Biostar TF7050-M2 Motherboard at Bit-tech:

PureVideo supports hardware accelerated MPEG, VC-1 and WMV9 video decoding for greater energy efficiency (or, longer battery life where notebooks are concerned), as it helps to reduce CPU utilisation while watching movies. Of course, there are various MPEG formats - Nvidia specifies hardware-accelerated MPEG-2 at resolutions up to 1080i and h.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) decoding at up to 720p.
