The fun doesn't stop at the back inputs, on the left side (facing the front of it) of the display is the third HDMI input and second S-Video input. There is another composite input for easy switching between devices like a DVD player and gaming console. A unique input shown above is labeled Wiselink and it looks a lot like a USB input. That's because it is a USB input for connecting portable storage devices that contain music or photos for playback on the LN-T4065F. More on Wiselink later in the review.
The main feature is the padded removable laptop sleeve. It easily fits 15.4" display laptop. Since it is removable, the laptop can be protected outside the WebPak when going through airport security where the passengers have to take the laptop out for inspection. The retractable mono-pole/wheeled is a life saver going through the forever never ending airport terminal; or awaiting in line for security check-in.
On such a keyboard, the space is limited. Taking a look at the cursor and surrounding keys you will see that Speed-Link has chosen a very unique layout. Right next to the left cursor is the "Del" ("Entf" in German) instead of the usual Ctrl key. You may find yourself in a bind during gameplay, frantically looking for the second Ctrl fuctionality. All the other fuction buttons have been arranged around the top left of the main keyboard area. This means that you may press the "EL on/off" key in the top left corner - turning off the backlight - when wanting to hit backspace instead.
The default SPD settings for this RAM kit are actually 5-5-5-15 at 1.8 volts when you first install it in your system. These SPD settings were programmed to fall in line with the JEDEC standard latency for 800MHz. But, don't fret because these timings can easily be changed if your motherboard BIOS supports overclocking RAM. If your motherboard doesn't have this feature, I wouldn't recommend that you purchase this RAM. I'm not sure why Kingston chose to make the default settings fall in line with JEDEC standards when it's clearly intended to be run at 3-3-3, but it's an easy fix in the motherboard BIOS.
OCZ produce some of the world's best loved enthusiast components. High end memory, mice, graphics cards and power supplies. Speaking of which, fancy seeing what their 700w GameXstream model can do? You do? read on.
As you can see from the feature list and the first picture above, the DT5000 has two USB ports, a FireWire/1394 port, a headphone and a microphone port, a blue backlit digital readout and a "digital Control Knob". Inside the accessory bag are a USB, FireWire/1394 and headphone/microphone adapter wires; three fan power extension connectors, three thermal sensor wires (going into one connector) with three pieces of thermal tape and a pack of four screws.
Octopod tripod at DragonSteelMods:
The actual mounting platform with the screw can be removed for easy installation on any camera. It secures and releases via a little lever under the platform. The mounting platform also features a rubberized base to protect your camera and keep it stable.
The large panel on the left side covers the motherboard and is held in place by thumbscrews which, when removed, allow the panel to swing out on a hinge. The same is true of the slightly smaller panel in front of it which makes up the rest of the side panel, covering the HDD cage and optical drive bays. Why exactly the whole panel doesn’t swing out on a single hinge is a little confusing, but it’s compensated for by the thumbscrews, which allow quick and easy access to the motherboard and which is incredibly handy for in-case tweaking and cable re-routing.
Going a bit deeper we see that Corsair has included all the accessories you will need to install your new kit (minus the water of course). There are clamps and plates for every major socket available today from 939 up to AM2 and from 478 up through 775. Very thoughtful.
The one thing I liked seeing is that Samsung didn't cheap out and supplied all the cables needed to get this product up and running. There was only one omission I would have liked to have seen included and that was an optical cable for the sound. But overall, everything is here to get your going.
