OCZ ModXStream 780Watt Power Supply at DragonSteelMods:

If we look at little closer at the label we'll find a number that we can reference on JohnnyGuru's website that tells us who actually made this power supply, the number is E190414, and we see it was made by FSP Group Inc who also makes power supplies: FSP, Sparkle, OCZ GameXstream, some In Win, Aopen, Power Man, Powertech, Zalman, Engelking, Sharkoon, some SilenX.

Wolf King's Timberwolf gaming keyboard at Bit-tech:

The media keys along the top of the board are all reflective silver and the black and grey regular keys match the colour of the body perfectly. The keyboard is thankfully without any awful backlighting. In all the keyboards we've looked at, backlighting is a love-it-or-hate-it feature which, done well, can make midnight gaming a lot easier and more stylish but, done poorly, is more headache-making than any other single design hiccup.

Noctua NC-U6 Chipset Cooler at XtremeComputing:

Removing the warning cover we can see that the finish isn’t perfectly smooth, look closely and you can see the machining marks (circles) on the base, but hopefully it shouldn’t affect the performance too much. If I had the time it might be worth smoothing it off a bit with a lapping kit.

Annual PC Checkup Checklist at PCStats:

Sure, you could pop down to your local computer mart for $200 or so of fresh parts to keep the dust from settling, but for those of us on a budget there is another option. For starters, there are a fair few things you can do to make your old faithful feel (somewhat) like new again without much expense. Let's take a quick look at some of the most common hardware and software problems related to constant use, and find some quick solutions.

Cooler Master Aquagate S1 Water Cooling System at 3dGameMan:

Many people are intimated by water cooling because they don't want liquid spilling all over their hardware components. This is a concern, especially if you are piecing together a water cooling system yourself. If you chose to do that, you have to be 100% sure that it's not going to leak. This is not so much of a concern with the Cooler Master Aquagate S1 Water Cooling System because everything is pre-connected. This kit does perform reasonable well, it's affordable and installation is extremely simple. The only pitfall to this kit is the small pump which makes an annoying loud buzzing sound. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Weighing value of today's processors at The Tech Report:

Fortuitously, AMD and Intel both took an axe to their prices last month, and we recently added Intel's $113 Core 2 Duo E4300 to our constellation of test results, so now seems like a particularly appropriate time to consider performance per dollar. Join us as we look at the value proposition of 16 CPUs, from the Athlon 64 X2 3600+ all the way up to the Core 2 Extreme QX6800, across a wide range of games, applications, and even energy efficiency tests. Some of what we found surprised us, and it may change the way you think about CPU value.

ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT Graphics Card at Tech ARP:

For a graphics card that spent so much time in development, we expected a really refined card. Well, it is and it isn't. It is the first graphics card we know to use expensive digital power regulation for greater efficiency and a cleaner board design. It also conveniently includes an onboard audio processor which allows you to stream video and audio together to your HDTV via a HDMI cable. This is a feature not yet found on any other graphics card.

ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT at techPowerUp:

The design of our 2400 XT sample board looks a bit weird. I assume the PCB design will be changed slightly. When looking closely at the upper part we can see that there are almost no components except for the CrossFire connector and the debug test port. Since the final cards will not use a CrossFire adapter, I assume this design was mainly used for testing and developing the cards.

Logitech Alto Notebook Stand & Keyboard at hardCOREware:

The stand itself is made of durable plastic and flips up at a 45 degree angle before locking into place using a clipping system at the rear of the stand. I was slightly concerned at first whether or not the Alto would be able to handle the weight of my 8lb Inspiron laptop but I had no need to be. The Alto had no problems even when tested with an 11lb Alienware laptop.

CPU Heatsink Roundup June 2007 at Madshrimps:

It’s almost summer time and our overclocking and silent PC system will need every bit of extra cooling power they can lay their hands on, so we continue our heatsink testing with the addition of four brand new contenders from coming from Thermalright, TTIC, Evercool and ZEROTherm, as well as retest the popular Thermalright Ultra-120 revision “A” heatsink. To accommodate the target audience of some of the new heatsinks they were tested with silent as well as high performance fans, if you’re looking for extreme cooling by use of conventional air cooling, you’ve come to the right place!
