Chaintech is a company that most people have at least heard of even if they're not entirely familiar with the company’s product line. In a part of an ongoing effort to change this lack of name recognition in the crowded motherboard and VGA chipset market, Chaintech invited several websites to New Orleans on May 16th and 17th for an opportunity to learn more about Chaintech and everything they represent. Here at Mikhailtech, we were honored to be invited and I personally came away from the event with a much greater respect for Chaintech.

Chaintech was established in November of 1986 and in the almost seventeen years since then the company has come quite a long way. As one of the top seven motherboard and top five video card manufacturers, Chaintech employs 1,080 people in locations around the world. According to their press guide Chaintech strives to “develop the most innovative and customer-oriented products.”

Chaintech kicked off the presentation by showing off a working version of their first motherboard. To me this motherboard symbolizes everything that Chaintech stands for, quality products that will last. We were introduced to the senior leadership of the company. Admittedly, I was more than a little surprised to see Simon Ho, President of Chaintech Worldwide, in attendance. I arrived expecting the leadership of Chaintech America to be present, but was very impressed that the President of the company was there.

Here's a quick look at the corporate headquarters of Chaintech, located in Taipei.
