Here you see several shots of the Hydrocool setup. The unit itself is very slick. It is made out of slightly translucent smoked plexiglass. I wasn't really able to tell at what sound level the Hydrocool unit runs due to the noise in the room, but it was not very loud at all. One of the best features of the unit are the self-tapping water lines that, when removed, seal themselves. This makes traveling to a LAN easy as you don't need to worry about draining your system to travel.

InterVideo was also present and I learned that the company behind WinDVD is also the creator of a video editing and content creation program called, what else, WinDVD Creator. I have used WinDVD for DVD playback on my main machine for some time now. WinDVD Creator uses intuitive and easy to use controls to cut rendering and burning time for both VCD’s and DVD’s.

NVIDIA was showing off the new user interface for their overclocking utility as well as the Geforce FX 5900 Ultra. The new GUI on the overclocking utility was very interesting, with sliding bars for CPU voltage, FSB, and AGP speed. This was the first press event I have had the pleasure of attending, and it was indeed a pleasure. After meeting the people behind Chaintech it is obvious to me that this is a company driven and focused on bringing the best products to market for the end user. Chaintech went the extra mile to show off their product lines and we look forward to a continuing relationship with a company poised to make an impact in the next year. Thanks for reading and enjoy the site!
