The Apogee VGA series card is Chaintech’s current top of the line video card. Here you can see the LED that is part of the covering of the card. The card itself takes up one slot and uses what Chaintech calls the Gas Turbine design. In testing in Chaintech’s labs this Gas Turbine Technology resulted in a 10 degree drop in GPU temperature versus the reference design and at sound levels right around 30 dB.

Here you cah see a comparison of the FX61 Turbo against the FX60 reference board. The FX61 Turbo has an additional 2 PCB layers, FBGA memory as opposed to TSOP and a memory clock starting from 350 MHz.

The Summit series of motherboards is designed for mainstream users and features extremely stable motherboards with standard features, coupled with a minimum of value-added products in order to keep the cost to the consumer down. If the presentation had ended there it would have been a great showing by Chaintech, but luckily for us several vendors were also in attendance.

Corsair has been recognized by many reviewers as some of the best RAM to have when it comes to overclocking. Based on their current strength in the enthusiast market, Corsair is launching a new product called the Hydrocool. The Hydrocool is a self contained water-cooling setup and appears to be perfect for someone who is always moving their computer, such as to LANs, but wants a water cooled PC.
