Abit Airpace WiFi PCI-E card at Bit-Tech:

From here the Airpace software, called WiFi SoftAP, guided us through exactly how to connect to the network – which a lot of people can find to be a needlessly complicated task – and we were set. The WiFi SoftAP utility then allows users to monitor everything about the wireless connection, from signal strength to the wireless mode and network type, at a glance. It also lets users switch between station and access point modes, as well as remotely disable the network reception.

SilverStone Decathlon 850w (DA850) modular PSU at XtremeComputing:

On paper the DA850 has an awesome spec list and the one thing that really jumps out is the 12v rail at 70amps, and no that’s not a typo it is seven zero amps from a single 12v supply. I am sure every thing but the most power hungry set ups should be happy with that and 28 and 30 amps respectively for the 3.3v and 5v rails are pretty impressive too. It has over current protection, over power protection, over voltage protection, short circuit protection that all good power supplies should have and I would have been stunned if this didn’t come with them.

Motherboard Buying Guide at Tech ARP:

Peripheral Performance – Most motherboards aren't made equal in this sense. This is because motherboard manufacturers find peripheral support the easiest way to cut down on cost without anyone noticing. As long as there's SATA and USB 2.0 support, who bothers to check how they perform? We will discuss the impact of the SATA controllers on hard drive performance in the Hard Drive section of this guide, but I will discuss basic USB and peripheral performance.

SilverStone MFP51 at XSReviews:

MFP51 is a product for those who pay attention to details, capable of giving users the most complete package of information, all the while giving them more flexibility in customizing their system. MFP51 uses a beautiful liquid crystal display to pass on multi-media information. So, whether you want to check your email or find out what the weather is like in Venice, MFP51 with its multi language ability, can give you all that and more with just few press of the remote, creating professional HTPC equipment like no one has ever imagined before!

Dan answers questions:

Some people think that the EC7 design, regardless of adjustability, starts out uncomfortable and only becomes more so with time. I don't mind 'em that much. No earbud can both seal well across your ear canal and be truly comfortable unless you go for very expensive custom-moulded in-ear units, and I think the EC7 shape strikes a reasonable balance. I'd feel robbed if I'd paid $US249 for this, but for $US40 or less they're comfy enough.

Sunbeam 3D Storm Case at techPowerUp:

The 3D Storm is a standard size midtower case. The outside is black, with silver aluminum accents down both sides of the front panel. (There is another version available that has black metal accents instead of the silver ones on our case.) Except for a small strip that separates the 5.25" bays from the 3.5" bays, the entire front is covered in black metal mesh. Below the bottom external 3.5" bay there is a symmetrically arranged panel that holds the Power On and Reset switches, the Power and HDD Activity LED's, two USB ports, and the standard microphone and headphone jacks.

Logitech Z-5450 Wireless Speakers at TweakTown:

Movie decoding is handled comfortably here with support for Dolby Digital, Dolby Prologic 2, DTS and DTS 96/24 hardware decoding – definitely no lack of support here. The Z-5450's handled movie soundtracks very comfortably with no issues of dialogue clarity from the centre channel of any digital noise from the amplifier. Our previous concern about the subwoofer's ability to play low frequency bass notes have arisen again here with demanding film soundtracks at times asking a little more than the unit can deliver resulting in the usual garbled fluffy port distortion, which are characteristic of this design in many different shapes and forms. However, having said that, and for the most part, movie quality performance was a first rate foray into multi-channel surround happiness.

DFI Infinity NF650I Ultra Motherboard also at TweakTown:

600i series chipsets have taken off quite remarkably because of their high feature set, full speed SLI, a new MCP with more SATA ports and the ability to have a third graphics slot on the high-end 680i SLI for physics. 680i LT recently made its debut to provide a more cost effective chipset based on the 680i design with full speed SLI, but not support for physics slot. 650i SLI used the original SLI design by splitting the single PCI Express x16 slot down into two PCIe x8 slots and reduced the amount of SATA ports and Ethernet connections.

OCZ 4GB VBoost USB Flash Drive at The Tech Zone:

One of the critical selling features of the OCZ VBoost drive is that it is certified for use with Vista ReadyBoost, an innovation that lets you boost the performance of your Windows Vista-based computer by using the flash memory within the drive as a supplement to your on-board RAM. It's not quite as effective as truly having an extra four gigs of RAM, but it's a lot better than nothing. By providing a supplementary memory cache, the drive rewards you with faster retrieval and storage of files.

Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System at ThinkComputers:

The Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System offers a wide variety of features of its predecessor, the X-530. This system offers a lot of features that are not usually provided by other surround systems. Some of the features included are FDD2, Dynamic Bass Equalization, and a matrix mode. Users on both the PC and consoles will have the ability to use this setup, unlike a lot of other systems.
