As you can see, the performance not only stays the same, but it decreases in most cases, sometimes by a fair margin. Definitely not worth the hassle to overclock the RAM asynchronous of the FSB. Now that we've established that the EL DDR PC3700 module performs slightly faster than the Basic PC3500, let's see how these modules overclock. The following table contains not only the speed, but also the timings and voltage used. I had to adjust the FSB as well in order to achieve a certain memory speed, but I never exceeded 180MHz and I didn't go below 155MHz.
