Author: Andrew Schembri Date: January 12, 2008 Manufacturer: Tuniq Provider: Tuniq Specs » Page 1: Introduction ![]() Tuniq is a subsidiary of Sunbeamtech, which was started in 2005. Sunbeamtech was launched in 2000 specializing in CCFLs. According to Tuniq’s website, its goal is: As a division of Sunbeamtech, Tuniq considers itself in the fashion business of computing industry. We are committed to bring stylish, durable and high performance equipment to the world of computer modding. Our members consist of those who have more than 10 years experience in the industry and enthusiastic young designers full of innovative ideas. As a supporter of PC enthusiasts, Tuniq presents the TX-2 thermal compound. Tuniq reworked the formula of the TX-1 compound and produced TX-2 with a smaller molecular structure, which should allow it to better fill the microscopic spaces in-between the CPU die and heatsink service. Today we will investigate if Tuniq’s efforts have paid off! Packaging ![]() Tuniq packaged TX-2 in a rather boring, but easy to open packaging. Considering that this is the type of product that isn’t really bought on a whim, the package serves nicely. It is easy to open by simply unfolding a flap at the bottom of the packaging. The compound itself is packaged in a 3.5 gram tube, which should be enough for at least 20 applications. ![]() ![]() ![]() The only information about the product that the packaging shows are the specs of the compound. There are no application instructions (which, by the way, are also missing from Tuniq’s website). The specs are located below. Specs » |
