Introduction
Noctua is a well know company for us reviewers here, but not so much for others. Noctua has been around for a several years know creating some of the most well engineered and designed coolers and fans. They have been long-term sponsors here and so far all of their products received Mikhailtech’s Editors Choice Awards.
Today we are looking at Noctua’s NF-B9 92mm fan. Everybody who uses computers know how annoying computer fans can get during operation. Sometimes only two or even one fan can create a tremendous amount of noise in your computer system. As a Noctua Fan, I have set up a system with 9 of their NF-F12 fans and they perform completely silent at all operations. Noctua’s fans use high-grade components as well as extremely strict quality control in order to maintain the highest possible quality standard. Will this been the case with Noctua’s 92mm fan, and will it perform good enough to keep up with other companies fans? Let’s take a look!

What does Noctua mean?
The little owl, Athene noctua, is the symbol of the Greek goddess Athene, who represents wisdom, science and strategy. She has a marked preference for the most clever among the Greek heroes, like Odysseus, who endure their adventures by the use of savvy consideration instead of mere force. Until today, the owl symbolized intelligence and prudence, its manlike face depicting attentiveness and communication. Noctua follows suit of the owl's calm and accurate observation in the dark, its soundless flight as well as the effective, economical use of its powers and precise attack.
