Author: Andrew Schembri Date: September 12, 2008 Manufacturer: Antec Provider: Antec Specs » Page 1: Antec Twelve Hundred ![]() Over a year and a half ago, now, Antec released the Nine Hundred case, marked by any large fans to combine efficient air-cooling with lots of room, the makings of which are ideal for a high-end gaming machine. For some, there are a few downsides to the case, including lack of support for large power supplies., and the inability to accommodate 10.5 inch video cards, such as the Nvidia 9800 GX2. These both boil down to the Nine Hundred not having enough space for some users. Antec responds with the Twelve Hundred case, but does it deliver? The Box ![]() The front of the box displays the top of the case showing off the front USB, eSATA, and audio ports, and eventually leads you to what really is the heart of the system, the 200mm top exhaust fan. ![]() Simple and bold describes the top of the box. ![]() Both sides provide quick verbiage about the case making claims such as “the absolutely unbeatable gaming case” and “unbeatable cooling system.” ![]() The rear of the package lists the specs of the case in three different languages.
